Introduction We are seeking a motivated Intern with a focus on Robotics, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics to join our team, working closely on the assembly, optimization, and testing of Agrivero’s cutting-edge devices.
As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience with real-world robotics applications, 3D printing, prototyping, IoT, and embedded systems, contributing to a transformative project in the agritech sector.
As a part of Agrivero, you will have the opportunity to make a big contribution to our product. You will not only work on the implementation but also be involved in the ideation and planning process.
Depending on your background, some of your responsibilities might be: - Assist in the assembly and testing of Agrivero green coffee grading devices, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
- Collaborate with the Embedded Systems Engineer to optimize hardware and software for efficient, high-quality grading performance.
- Conduct preliminary device calibration and testing, analyzing data to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document testing protocols, outcomes, and suggestions for future improvements.
- Assist in the maintenance and upgrade of embedded systems firmware and software applications.
- Actively participate in team discussions, contributing ideas for product innovation and optimization.
Your profile:- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong CAD skills, especially in Fusion360.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D printing incl. quality control of prints and adjustments (Bamboo).
- Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and microcontrollers.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, or calibration of mechanical designs.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to troubleshoot, document, and communicate findings clearly.
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for robotics and emerging technologies.
- Available to work 20-40 hours per week with flexibility for occasional full-day sessions when necessary.
