About Agrivero We are Agrivero.ai, a deep-tech startup building the future of AI-powered quality control in agriculture, starting with coffee. Our mission is to digitize and transform one of the world’s most important supply chains.
We’ve built the production-ready version of the product. Now we’re looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to take ownership of hardware design, optimization, and certification.
Your RoleAs a Senior Robotics Engineer, you will:
- Own hardware development from prototype to production: mechanical, electrical, and system integration.
- Optimize our device for manufacturability, maintenance, and scalability—turning lab hardware into robust, field-deployable units.
- Work closely with our ML engineer to co-design the device around NVIDIA Jetson hardware (JetPack 5/6), cameras, and sensors.
- Lead the design and integration of the NIR hardware version of our product (optics, illumination, sensors).
- Drive compliance and certifications (CE, FCC, and relevant agri/foodtech certifications) to ensure readiness for global deployment.
- Build and manage relationships with manufacturing partners and suppliers.
- Develop testing protocols for durability, reliability, and quality assurance.
What We’re Looking For- 5+ years of hardware/robotics engineering experience, ideally in robotics, IoT, or industrial automation.
- Strong background in mechanical design (CAD), electronics, and embedded systems integration.
- Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and transitioning hardware from the pilot stage to mass production.
- Familiarity with optics and sensing systems (cameras, NIR sensors, illumination systems).
- Hands-on knowledge of embedded computing platforms (NVIDIA Jetson, Arduino, microcontrollers).
- Proven track record of working with compliance/certification processes (CE, FCC, safety standards).
- Strong prototyping skills and ability to iterate quickly in a startup environment.
- Bonus: experience in agri-tech, foodtech, or industrial inspection systems.
Why Join Us- Founding team role: You’ll shape the hardware backbone of our product and company.
- Work with cutting-edge ML + robotics in a real-world agricultural industry with global impact.
- Direct responsibility: your designs will be deployed in production across multiple countries.
- Competitive salary and equity compensation.
Tech Stack & Tools You’ll Work With- CAD & design tools: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar
- Electronics: PCB design (Altium, KiCad), embedded controllers, Jetson integration
- Manufacturing: rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC), DFM practices
- Compliance & certification frameworks: CE, FCC, ISO 9001
- Collaboration: GitHub, Docker, Linux systems
