Introduction We are seeking a motivated Robotics Working Student to join our team, working closely with our Embedded Systems Engineer on the assembly, optimization, and testing of Agrivero’s cutting-edge devices. As a working student, you will gain hands-on experience with real-world robotics applications, IoT, and embedded systems, contributing to a transformative project in the agritech sector.
As a part of Agrivero.ai, you will have the opportunity to make a big contribution to our product. You will not only work on the implementation but also be involved in the ideation and planning process.
Your responsibilities: - Assist in the assembly and testing of Agrivero green coffee grading devices, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
- Collaborate with the Embedded Systems Engineer to optimize hardware and software for efficient, high-quality grading performance.
- Conduct preliminary device calibration and testing, analyzing data to enhance performance and reliability.
- Document testing protocols, outcomes, and suggestions for future improvements.
- Assist in the maintenance and upgrade of embedded systems firmware and software applications.
- Actively participate in team discussions, contributing ideas for product innovation and optimization.
Your profile:- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and microcontrollers; experience with Nvidia Jetson Nano or similar platforms is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with robotics assembly, testing, or calibration; experience in hardware testing environments is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of C++, Python, or similar programming languages; experience with machine learning and computer vision is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to troubleshoot, document, and communicate findings clearly.
- A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for robotics and emerging technologies.
- Available to work 15-20 hours per week with flexibility for occasional full-day sessions when necessary.
Nice to know:- We offer flexible working hours, 75% overlap with CET time zone is preferred
- You can work from an office in Berlin or remotely, however we will prefer candidates who are registered in Berlin or ready to relocate
