Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer

Currently, we are looking for a Senior Machine Learning / Computer Vision Engineer. You will work closely with our internal and extended team to monitor the performance of our products in the field and customize already developed ML models for our customers.
As a part of Agrivero, you will have the opportunity to make a big contribution to our product and work with a range of technologies shipping ML models directly in production. You will not only work on the implementation but also be involved in the ideation and planning process.
Your responsibilities:

• Perform in-depth analysis of the behavior and properties of the ML models for segmentation and classification deployed on the VeroLab 1.0 devices
• Maintain the MLOps Pipeline including DVC, CVAT and MLFlow to retrain customized ML models using newly acquired data from customers
• Document and communicate experiments and research findings
• Deploy ML models on the edge device
• Fix bugs and inaccuracies

Your profile:

• Master of Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 5+ years of relevant work experience primarily with image processing
• Solid background and experience in Image Processing, Computer Vision, ML, and deep learning
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch
• Strong coding skills in Python or C++
• Understanding production challenges of deploying ML models on the edge
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills (no German needed)
• Experience in ML for organic matters and agricultural applications (preferred)

• You can work from an office in Berlin or remotely, however, we will prefer candidates who are registered in Berlin or ready to relocate
• Even though we planned this position to be full-time in Berlin, we are ready to consider other candidates and arrangements (eg. 75% part-time employment). We are flexible and family-friendly and want to find an arrangement that works for both
