Introduction

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Specialist to join Agrivero’s team, specializing in the mechanical assembly and testing of AI-enabled green coffee grading devices. In this role, you will work on assembling, calibrating, and validating the mechanical parts of our devices, which are designed to enhance quality control in the coffee industry. This position is ideal for someone with a background in mechanical assembly, meticulous attention to detail, and a drive to be part of innovative agritech solutions.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components of Agrivero’s green coffee grading devices according to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and calibration of assembled devices, ensuring optimal functionality and adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve mechanical issues during the assembly process.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on parts and assembled devices, documenting any defects and suggesting corrective actions.
  • Maintain and organize assembly workstations, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and clean work environments.
  • Assist with testing protocols, troubleshooting, and developing improvements to the assembly process.
  • Record detailed notes on assembly procedures, testing results, and potential optimizations for continuous improvement.

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly, ideally within robotics, IoT, or similar technical fields.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electromechanical components, with the ability to follow assembly diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with calibration and testing tools; familiarity with measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and torque wrenches is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems and electronics is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to document procedures and test results accurately.
